Apple has done it again; it has made me decide to get a brand new cell phone and that cell phone is the Apple iPhone 4G. It is the newest model from the Apple mobile centre and it promises to be very innovative and inventive. One of the most talked about feature on the iPhone new model, is the camera that is situated at the front of the phone that is aimed at providing video calling features for the user.

Now everyone can have a more intimate conversation if that is what they choose. While the camera is made specifically to support that feature, many people have found other uses for it. Some people see it as an easy tool to take portrait pictures of themselves. Some persons have even used it like a mirror to apply make-up or other such delights.

The app is dubbed as FaceTime. It will use Wi-Fi connections and can connect to other iPhone 4G devices. You do not have to have the person looking at your face all the time if you don't want to, because you have the option of switching to the camera at the back so that the person can see what you are also seeing.

While the app is currently limited to the new 4G devices, Apple is currently working on making the FaceTime application available over 3G networks by coming to an agreement with the mobile operators. They are also planning to distribute many devices that use FaceTime over the next 6 months and beyond, so that the persons with the iPhone 4 can interact with more people via that app.
